Our brothers and sisters in Gaza, who are going through hard times, breathed a little bit with the hot meals distributed. The children who received the food had only one sentence on their tongues:
“THANK YOU TURKEY...”
This emotional thank you from the children of Gaza showed once again how vital aid is. You can also join this act of kindness and heal the wounds of our Palestinian brothers and sisters.
Following the earthquake that struck Istanbul yesterday around noon, causing unease among citizens, teams from the Valide Humanitarian Aid Association quickly took to the field to carry out meaningful support activities. Association volunteers provided hot soup and simit (Turkish bagels) last night to Istanbul residents who had to spend the night in open areas such as parks and gardens after the earthquake.
As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we continue our support to the people of Gaza who are struggling to survive in the shadow of heavy rains and Israeli attacks. We deliver bread provided with the contributions of our supporters to families trying to survive in difficult conditions in tents.
Access to clean water in Gaza is becoming more difficult every day due to the ongoing blockade and attacks. As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we distributed a tanker of water in Gaza on behalf of our donor and his family.
