Water Well

The water consumed by approximately 2 billion people does not comply with hygiene standards. Due to diseases caused by contaminated water, such as cholera, diarrhea, and typhoid, around 1,000 children die every day. More than 2 million people die each year due to drought, diseases, and difficulty accessing water.

Drought, scarcity, rapid population growth, and pollution threaten clean drinking water sources. In our world, where millions of people lack access to safe water, mass diseases are on the rise. If serious and practical measures are not taken to prevent the reduction of clean water sources, the dangers facing humanity will increase even more. In many regions of the world, especially in Africa and Asia, people have to walk for kilometers to meet their daily water needs. However, they can only quench their thirst with dirty and muddy water they find.

As the Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, within the scope of permanent projects, we bring relief to the hearts of our brothers and sisters through our water well projects in drought-stricken lands and countries longing for clean drinking water.

Public Benefit Status

Public Benefit and Tax Exemption Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, established on July 16, 2010, operates under the principle of "Service to the public is service to God." On July 25, 2012, in accordance with Article 27 of the Associations Law No. 5253, our association applied with request No. 24844 to be recognized as a public benefit association. Based on the response from the Department of Associations of the Ministry of Interior, the Council of Ministers granted Valide Humanitarian Aid Association the status of a Public Benefit Association with its decision dated July 16, 2014, and numbered 2014/6647.

Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, founded on July 16, 2010, with the principle of "Service to the public is service to God," operates as a non-profit organization with public benefit status.
