Life Giving Water Distributions from our Association to Gaza
Gaza has been struggling with years of blockade, wars and inhumane conditions. The genocide in the region since October 7 has resulted not only in loss of life, but also in almost impossible access to basic humanitarian needs. In Gaza, where water resources are almost non-existent and infrastructure has been severely damaged, access to clean water has become one of the biggest parts of the struggle for survival. In these difficult conditions, our association distributes water to the people of Gaza in order to be a breath of fresh air.
Access to clean water sources in Gaza has become almost impossible. The local population faces serious health problems by being dependent on dirty and unhealthy water sources. Our association did not remain indifferent to this situation and mobilized to deliver emergency water aid to the people of the region. The water distributed is helping thousands of people in the region to meet their daily basic needs.
Infectious diseases caused by lack of water pose a serious threat in the region. With water distributions, we aim to reduce existing health risks and contribute to the healthy lives of children and families.
While the whole world is watching the suffering of the people of Gaza, our association continues to stand by our brothers and sisters in these difficult days with the support of our donors. As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we are continuing our distribution operations without interruption to provide clean water, one of the most basic needs in the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. We are determined to continue these vital efforts to ensure that the people of the region can live in healthy and hygienic conditions.
The Valide Association has become a beacon of hope for women struggling to survive in Sudan, where the crisis continues. The comprehensive clothing aid provided with the support of our donors brought smiles to the faces of Sudanese women.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan carried out a comprehensive distribution of mats and blankets to displaced civilians who were forced to leave their homes as a result of the RSF's atrocities. The distribution brought hope to families staying in temporary shelters in the most affected areas with urgent shelter needs.
