The humanitarian crisis is deepening in the Gaza Strip, which has been under Israel's intense bombardment and blockade for months. With hundreds of thousands of people displaced and access to basic necessities such as food, water, and medicine nearly impossible, the cold weather conditions brought by winter have brought life to a standstill in the region.
Brotherhood Warms in Harsh Winter Conditions
Valide Humanitarian Aid Association continues its aid activities in Gaza uninterrupted through its teams on the ground. In the latest effort organized to combat the hunger crisis in the region and alleviate the freezing effects of winter, thousands of people were served hot meals.
The hot meals delivered to families living in tents or among the ruins, particularly those deprived of shelter, not only filled their stomachs but also made them feel the hand of brotherhood extended from miles away.
The association called on philanthropists to support the sustainability of humanitarian aid operations in Gaza. While noting that the need for flour, clean water, and hot meals continues to grow in the region, it emphasized that Valide Humanitarian Aid Association's winter aid campaign will continue.
As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we are continuing our distribution operations without interruption to provide clean water, one of the most basic needs in the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. We are determined to continue these vital efforts to ensure that the people of the region can live in healthy and hygienic conditions.
The Valide Association has become a beacon of hope for women struggling to survive in Sudan, where the crisis continues. The comprehensive clothing aid provided with the support of our donors brought smiles to the faces of Sudanese women.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan carried out a comprehensive distribution of mats and blankets to displaced civilians who were forced to leave their homes as a result of the RSF's atrocities. The distribution brought hope to families staying in temporary shelters in the most affected areas with urgent shelter needs.
