As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we continue to develop sustainable solutions in Africa, where access to clean water is of vital importance. As part of our water well projects in Nigeria, we have dedicated the “Kardeşlik 6” water well, the sixth phase of our large-scale 150-share project, to the local community with prayers.
Hope Stretching for Miles
In water-scarce regions of Nigeria, women and children in particular had to walk miles every day to access clean water. With the Brotherhood 6 water well, this arduous journey has come to an end. Now, the local community is experiencing the joy of having hygienic, safe, and uninterrupted water in their own villages.
Valide Humanitarian Aid Association continues to bring hope to regions in Africa that lack access to clean water. Completed with the support of 50 generous donors, "Brotherhood 7 Water Well" was put into service for the local community with a opening ceremony and prayers.
As part of the work we carry out in Nigeria through the Valide Association, we presented copies of the Holy Quran to our student brothers and sisters in the region. At the end of the line set up in a dusty, earthen square, each student left holding a trust they will carry with them for a lifetime.
