The Valide Humanitarian Aid Association continues to bring the blessings of Ramadan to the remotest corners of Somalia. The meals we have set up, despite the harsh living conditions, are strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between us.
We have not left our brothers and sisters, who are struggling to survive under Somalia’s scorching heat and harsh living conditions, alone this Ramadan either. As part of our work carried out under the slogan “Our Brotherhood Grows as We Share”, we prepared hot iftar meals for needy families and children in Somalia.
The hot meals, meticulously prepared by our teams, are delivered not only to central locations but also right to the doorsteps of families in areas where access is difficult. These tables, set up so that we may all share in the peace and joy of iftar time, are made abundant by the support of our benefactors.
Valide Humanitarian Aid Association continues to bring hope to regions in Africa that lack access to clean water. Completed with the support of 50 generous donors, "Brotherhood 7 Water Well" was put into service for the local community with a opening ceremony and prayers.
As part of the work we carry out in Nigeria through the Valide Association, we presented copies of the Holy Quran to our student brothers and sisters in the region. At the end of the line set up in a dusty, earthen square, each student left holding a trust they will carry with them for a lifetime.
