On the first day of Eid al-Fitr, acts of kindness crossed borders to reach Bangladesh. As the Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we shared the joy of the festival by delivering the donations entrusted to us by our benefactors to orphaned and underprivileged children in Bangladesh.
On this special day, as we awoke to the blessings of the festival and the peace of sharing, our teams were in the most needy regions of Bangladesh. The festive clothes and gifts, meticulously prepared with the support of our donors, were delivered to our brothers and sisters thousands of kilometres away.
For these little ones, who bear the weight of childhood amidst harsh living conditions, the festival meant wrapping themselves in their new clothes and knowing they were remembered. The unique sparkle in the eyes of the children receiving their gifts was, for us, the festival’s greatest blessing and the most beautiful reward for our efforts.
Valide Humanitarian Aid Association continues to bring hope to regions in Africa that lack access to clean water. Completed with the support of 50 generous donors, "Brotherhood 7 Water Well" was put into service for the local community with a opening ceremony and prayers.
As part of the work we carry out in Nigeria through the Valide Association, we presented copies of the Holy Quran to our student brothers and sisters in the region. At the end of the line set up in a dusty, earthen square, each student left holding a trust they will carry with them for a lifetime.
As part of the relief efforts we are carrying out in Nigeria through the Valide Association, we provided hot meals to our brothers and sisters in need in the region.
