The Valide Humanitarian Aid Association is bringing the spirit of Ramadan to the remotest corners of Sri Lanka. Your Zakat donations are delivered directly by hand to families in need, who have been carefully identified.
We are not leaving our brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka, who are struggling with economic hardships and difficult living conditions, to fend for themselves this Ramadan either. Our teams on the ground identify genuine beneficiaries and deliver the zakat you have donated as cash aid.
Building Bridges of Compassion
Our aim is not merely to provide material aid, but also to ensure that our brothers and sisters thousands of kilometres away feel they are not alone. Thanks to the cash aid provided, families are able to meet their food, healthcare and basic needs according to their own priorities.
Valide Humanitarian Aid Association continues to bring hope to regions in Africa that lack access to clean water. Completed with the support of 50 generous donors, "Brotherhood 7 Water Well" was put into service for the local community with a opening ceremony and prayers.
As part of the work we carry out in Nigeria through the Valide Association, we presented copies of the Holy Quran to our student brothers and sisters in the region. At the end of the line set up in a dusty, earthen square, each student left holding a trust they will carry with them for a lifetime.
