Going beyond one-time aid to transform the region’s destiny, our association continues to make a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. Thanks to this sustainable livestock project—launched to combat poverty in the region and support local production—needy families have not only gained a source of livelihood but also taken a major step toward becoming self-reliant.
We are not only healing today’s wounds but also creating visionary projects to improve the future. The dairy goats distributed will not only meet families’ regular milk needs but, as their numbers grow over time, will provide a lasting source of income for both the local economy and family budgets in the long term.
Valide Humanitarian Aid Association continues to bring hope to regions in Africa that lack access to clean water. Completed with the support of 50 generous donors, "Brotherhood 7 Water Well" was put into service for the local community with a opening ceremony and prayers.
As part of the work we carry out in Nigeria through the Valide Association, we presented copies of the Holy Quran to our student brothers and sisters in the region. At the end of the line set up in a dusty, earthen square, each student left holding a trust they will carry with them for a lifetime.
