As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we carried out our Qurban 2025 organization as a sign of brotherhood, sharing and solidarity in oppressed geographies this year. In this journey we set out with the slogan “Be Hope with your Qurban, Be a Brother!”, the sacrifices slaughtered by proxy were delivered to those in need in 11 countries.
In Ghana and Burkina Faso, the works we personally carried out in the field gained more meaning with permanent projects. The opening of the 200-seat masjid built in Ghana was not just a building for us; it was the embodiment of an ummah consciousness that blossoms with prayer.
The sincere request of the villagers to the teachers who came to the region for invitation work years ago, “Pray for us, one day we will have a mosque here”, has become a reality today with the contribution of Valide Humanitarian Aid Association volunteers and our donors. Speaking at the opening ceremony, our President Muhammed Faruk Pirdal drew attention to this spiritual process by saying, “This masjid is not just a place of worship; it is a manifestation of sincere intentions, prayers and bridges of brotherhood.”
The two water wells we drilled in the same region have the capacity to provide clean drinking water to 1,000 people on a daily basis. In this geography where access to safe water is vital, these wells will touch the lives of thousands of people.
Our aid activities in Ghana are not limited to these. We continued our support for education with Quran distributions and served hot meals in orphanages. We also distributed dairy goats to dozens of families to support their livelihoods.
The sacrifices slaughtered by proxy did not only bring meat, but also hope to the tables of thousands of people, joy to their homes and a sense of brotherhood to their hearts.
The sacrifices slaughtered through wakalah did not only bring meat, but also hope to the tables of thousands of people, joy to their homes and a sense of brotherhood to their hearts.
We successfully completed this year's organization in a total of 11 countries, including Ghana and Burkina Faso, as well as Kenya, Afghanistan, Yemen, Tanzania, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Somalia. In each country, we strengthened the bonds of brotherhood with sacrifices and humanitarian aid activities planned according to the needs of the region.
As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we continue our humanitarian aid efforts throughout the year and we see our sacrifice organizations as a part of this effort. We would like to thank all our volunteers and donors who have contributed and express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this journey of goodness.
In the shadow of attacks, facing deprivation and siege, we do not abandon our brothers and sisters in Gaza as they welcome the holy month of Ramadan. As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we continue to deliver the zakat and sadaqah of our benefactors to those in need in the region, even under the most challenging conditions.
In Gaza, where Ramadan is being observed under difficult living conditions and limited resources, we at Valide Humanitarian Aid Association stand by our brothers and sisters. We take comfort in delivering iftar packages, prepared with the support of our benefactors, to families struggling to survive in Gaza's narrow streets and tent camps.
As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, we are bringing the blessings of Ramadan beyond borders, to the heart of Africa, Nigeria. We have not forgotten our student brothers and sisters who are striving to continue their education under difficult conditions; with your support, we shared hundreds of meals at iftar tables, united by bonds of brotherhood.
